This, combined with our proven track record as a valued construction partner, has seen us complete hundreds of quality residential homes across Canterbury, Otago, and the Mackenzie district, with many of our clients turning to us time and time again.

We’ve been family-owned and operated for over 30 years and recent years have seen us extend our reach across the South Island. With teams now based in Christchurch and Wanāka, in addition to our original Timaru team, we now have the capabilities to build across the Canterbury, Mackenzie and Central Otago regions.

We met with Shore Construction to discuss the redevelopment of the old Anglican Vicarage site in central Geraldine and just under two years later the new Barker’s Foodstore & Eatery was opened, followed a few weeks later by the fully refurbished Vicarage Geraldine, offering boutique accommodation. Rickie Shore and his team provided initial guidance as we put together a team of professionals and then provided practical design advice and project management throughout the build. Despite the complexity, there were no hold-ups and all parties including the Geraldine community, Barker’s and our customers and guests are more than happy with the final result.
